“What is taking place in Basra in particular, and Iraq in general, in the form of assassinations of our sons and daughters, is a terrorist crime that clearly demonstrates that there is no difference between the armed militia factions—the criminal militias affiliated with Iraq’s parties of destruction—and ISIS or al-Qaeda. The Islam of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) is innocent of them and of their crimes.
