There are several elements to performing Call to prayer (Adhan) and the call to establish the prayer (Iqamah)

The main points are given below, taken from Jurisprudence of Islam شرائع الإسلام (كل الأجزاء)

Direction: face qiblah

Speed: Adhan (medium speed), Iqaham (at pace)

Note: one cannot leave out the 4 articles of faith from the adhan or iqamah, as they have been prescribed by Syed Ahmed Al-Hasan (as), on command from Imam Mahdi (as) himself.

Also, each obligatory salaat requires the iqamah always. However, if someone is praying more than one obligatory salaat in the same place and between the two obligatory salaats, they continued to be engaged in worship and did not leave their place of prayer, then they can suffice with one adhan (i.e. no need to repeat the adhan).

If they left that place to only prepare for the next salaat, i.e. by performing the wudu, then that also makes them eligible to use the allowance of giving the adhan once, since, performing wudu was an act of preparation for the next salaat.
