Question 653: The meaning of “penetration (al-nufūdh)” in the verse:
“O you who believe, if you are able to penetrate … then penetrate …”

Peace be upon you, my master and my lord, the Qā’im of the Family of Muhammad and their Yamani… and peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you, my brothers, Ansar of Allah.

Allah, the Exalted, says in His mighty Book:
(O you who believe, if you are able to penetrate through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate; but you will not penetrate except with a power/authority.)
What is the meaning of “penetration” and how does it occur? And what is the “authority (sulṭān)”?

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send His blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdiyyīn.

The verse is:
“O assembly of jinn and humans! If you are able to penetrate through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate; you will not penetrate except with a power.”
(al-Raḥmān 55:33)

Meaning: If you are able to pass through the boundaries of the heavens and the earth (that is, the physical universe), you will never reach any authority other than the authority of Allah. Wherever you go, you will still be within the dominion of Allah, Exalted is He. This is the meaning of: “You will not penetrate except with a power.”

The use of the word “to penetrate” (tanfuḏū) indicates that the boundaries of the created realms are boundaries through which passing is theoretically possible. But do not imagine that beyond these regions and boundaries lies anything outside the authority or kingdom of Allah.

Allah, the Exalted, says:
“So which of your Lord’s favours will you deny?
A flame of fire and smoke shall be sent upon you, and you will not be able to defend yourselves.”
(al-Raḥmān 55:34–35)

“Shall be sent upon you” is in the passive form because the one sending the fire and smoke is these very regions and boundaries themselves. In other words, they are self-generated. The boundaries or edges of these universes—through which one attempts penetration—are filled with fire (energy) and nuhās (smoke).

This means that the boundaries of the heavens and the earth are not calm or still; rather, they are in motion and in turmoil. The natural result of this turbulence is collisions and explosions that generate fire, heat, and smoke. A natural outcome of the condensation of such energies is the possible formation of physical matter as we know it in our world, or other forms in other realms that cause obstruction and prevent penetration. Hence:
“So you will not be able to prevail.”

-السؤال/ 653: معنى النفوذ في قوله تعالى: “يا ايها الذين آمنوا إن استطعتم أن تنفذوا … فانفذوا ….”

السلام عليك سيدي ومولاي قائم آل محمد ويمانيهم …السلام عليكم أخوتي أنصار الله ورحمة الله وبركاته. قال الله سبحانه وتعالى في محكم كتابه العزيز: (يا أيها الذين آمنوا ان استطعتم ان تنفذوا من أقطار السماوات والأرض فانفذوا ولا تنفذون إلا بسلطان). ما معنى النفوذ وكيف يكون؟ وما هو السلطان؟ المرسل: أبو حيدر – العراق/ البصرة الجواب: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم والحمد لله رب العالمين، وصلى الله على محمد وآل محمد الأئمة والمهديين وسلم تسليماً. الآية هي هكذا: ﴿يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانفُذُوا لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ﴾[الرحمن: 33]: أي إن استطعتم النفوذ من خلال حدود السماوات والأرض (أي الكون الجسماني)، فلن تنفذوا إلى سلطان غير سلطان الله فحيث ما انتقلتم ستكونون في سلطان الله سبحانه (لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ)، واستعمال كلمة (تنفذوا) يعني أنّ حدود الأكوان إنما هي حدود قابلة للنفوذ منها، ولكن لا تتوهموا أنّ ما بعد هذه الأقطار والحدود شيء آخر غير سلطان الله وملك الله سبحانه وتعالى، قال تعالى: ﴿فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ( يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ﴾[الرحمن: 34-35]: ﴿يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا﴾: مبنية للمجهول؛ والسبب أن مرسل النار والدخان هو نفس هذه الأقطار أو الحدود أي إنها متولدة ذاتياً أي إنّ حدود هذه الأكوان أو أقطارها القابلة للنفاذ منها مليئة بالنار (الطاقة) والنحاس (الدخان)، وهذا يعني أنّ حدود هذه الأكوان السماوات والأرض ليست ساكنة بل متحركة مضطربة ونتيجة طبيعية لاضطرابها أن تحصل اصطدامات وانفجارات تولد ناراً وحرارة ودخاناً، والنتيجة الطبيعية لهذا هو تكثف هذه الطاقات وبالتالي ممكن أن تتكون المادة الجسمانية كما نعرفها في عالمنا أو صور أخرى في عالم آخر تسبب عرقلة ومنع النفاذ وبالتالي ﴿فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ﴾.
