Peace be upon you oh Master, Yamani of the Prophet Muhammad’s Family (pbut) and on all the Ansar, may Allah make us firm and keep us loyal to them, if He so please.

My Master, I have a question which I wish for you to answer, if I am worthy of you responding to me.

My question: which is preferred for a girl: marriage or studies?

And if one of the Ansar proposes to her, is it better for her to leave her studies and marry him, or to complete her studies?

And if she refuses to marry, does it make her a sinner that she denied Allah’s friends, because she now may be rejected: since they will not accept that a girl should complete her studies. So is she allowed to marry a non Ansar?

And is a man allowed to marry a non Ansar?

This is my question, which I wish for you to answer and for you to pray for me in the way that you see fit.

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Vastly Merciful, the Intensely Merciful

If there is a clash between marriage and study, then marriage is better for the woman. But she is allowed to leave marriage and complete her studies if she prefers to study, or she could marry and complete her studies, if there is no clash between them.

The woman that believes in the truth, can marry someone from the people of truth who believes in the imams and the mahdis, or she can marry a muslim who does not believe this, but who does not show any animosity to the imams and the mahdis.

But for a believing woman to marry a non believer is undesirable and it is better for her to avoid communion with a non believer

As for the believing man: he is allowed to marry a believing woman or a muslim woman who does not believe, but who does not show any animosity to the imams and the mahdis.  Also, he can marry a kitabiyyah (from other Abrahamic faiths) whether she be christian or jewish.

I ask Allah for the best of the hereafter and this life and for him to make you firm on the truth and to support it, and to make your matters easy, as He (may He be glorified) would like and be pleased with.

And peace be to you, and the mercy and blessings of Allah

السلام عليك سيدي ومولاي يماني آل محمد (ع) وعلى جميع الأنصار جعلنا الله من الثابتين على الولاية إن شاء.

سيدي لدي سؤال أرجو الإجابة عليه إذا كنت ممن يستحقون أن تجيب عليهم.

وسؤالي: أيهما أفضل للبنت الزواج أو الدراسة ؟

وإذا تقدم لخطبتها أحد الأنصار تترك الدراسة وتتزوج أفضل أم تكمل دراستها ؟

وإذا رفضت الزواج هل عليها إثم بسبب رفضها أولياء الله وهي ترفض؛ لأنهم لا يقبلون أن تكمل المرأة الدراسة، وهل يجوز لها أن تتزوج بغير الأنصار ؟

وهل يجوز للرجل أن يتزوج من غير الأنصار ؟

هذا سؤالي وأرجو أنت تجيبني سيدي وأن تدعو لي بما تراه صالحاً لي.

الجواب: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

والحمد لله رب العالمين، وصلى الله على محمد وآل محمد الأئمة والمهديين وسلم تسليماً.

إذا كان هناك تعارض بين الزواج والتعليم فالزواج أفضل بالنسبة للمرأة، ولكن يجوز لها أن تترك الزواج وتكمل تعليمها إذا كانت تفضل التعليم، أو أن تتزوج وتكمل تعليمها إذا لم يكن هناك تعارض بينهما.

والمرأة المؤمنة بالحق يجوز أن تتزوج مؤمناً بالأئمة والمهديين من أهل الحق، أو أن تتزوج مسلماً مخالفاً لا ينصب عداءً للأئمة أو المهديين.

والزواج بغير المؤمن مكروه بالنسبة للمؤمنة، فخير لها أن تتجنب الاقتران بغير المؤمن.

أما الرجل المؤمن فيجوز له الزواج من المؤمنة أو المسلمة المخالفة التي لا تنصب عداءً للأئمة أو المهديين، وأيضاً يجوز له الزواج من الكتابية مسيحية أو يهودية.

وأسأل الله لك خير الآخرة والدنيا، وأن يثبتك على الحق والانتصار للحق، وأن ييسر أمورك لما يحب ويرضى سبحانه.
